ABUELA is the collaboration between Evan ‘E. Vax’ Mast and the White Wizard. To produce this majestic slice of ambience, the two set up their studio in an old adobe building in the Andes Mountains of southern Peru.  They took their inspiration from the mountains, rivers, and valleys of southern Peru as well as the inhabitants, both seen and unseen.  The use of indigenous instruments and synths brings out the other-worldly beauty of the 7 inch.  One sees the mountains, feels the presence of the unknown and the ancient, and connects with the landscape.  This is almost as good as traveling to Peru.  The music takes you there.
