Rec Hall is embarking on their first tour, opening for their labelmates Beach Weather on the Pineapple Sunrise: The Tour. Check out the tour dates and secure your tickets at the link provided.
The tour marks a significant milestone for the band, as it’s their first time away from home, which has deeply influenced their music. Guitarist/Bassist Ben Tyrell elaborates on their new track, “How Long,” which explores the contrasting emotions of touring. He describes the song as capturing the longing for home’s stability and comfort alongside the dynamic excitement of live performances. The track aims to blend feelings of a cozy domestic life with the vibrant energy of a dance club.
Before releasing “How Long,” the indie rock trio previewed it during their shows, where it received an enthusiastic response from the audience. The teaser post for the song became their most popular social media update, with fans expressing their love for the track.
The song is a follow-up to their 2023 debut EP, Localism, which was praised for its surf rock and psychedelic vibes by Last Day Deaf and noted by Local Wolves for setting the tone of the band’s beginnings. The EP features the hit “She Doesn’t Get It,” which has already surpassed 20 million streams and was added to Sirius XM’s Alternative Nation Advanced Placement.
Don’t miss Rec Hall on tour and stay tuned for more music coming soon!
