The highly anticipated 10th edition of Hinterland Music Festival is set to return from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 3, 2025, in St. Charles, Iowa, just 30 minutes south of Des Moines. This year’s festival boasts an incredible lineup featuring Tyler, the Creator, Kacey Musgraves, Lana Del Rey, Clairo, The Marías, Bleachers, Remi Wolf, Sierra Ferrell, Still Woozy, Royel Otis, Wyatt Flores, Role Model, Glass Beams, Gigi Perez, and more. Fans can secure early access by signing up for a presale code at www.hinterlandiowa.com, with presales kicking off on Thursday, January 23 at 11:00 AM CT, followed by the public ticket sale on Friday, January 24 at 11:00 AM CT.
2025 Ticket Options
Festivalgoers can choose from 3-Day and 1-Day General Admission, VIP, and SAINTS tickets, along with a variety of camping options, including tent, car, RV, and glamping accommodations. Payment plans are available, starting at just $25 down. Camping spots will be sold per tent or campsite, rather than per person. Enhancements for VIP and SAINTS ticket holders include dedicated entry lines, an upgraded Premium Lounge, an air-conditioned SAINTS lounge, and more. A new “free look” policy allows VIP and SAINTS ticket holders to return their tickets within the first hour if unsatisfied.
Bigger and Better Hinterland Experience
The 2025 festival promises an enhanced experience with an expanded venue layout, a relocated and larger main stage, more shade structures, and improved access to water, including new filling stations and misting fans throughout the grounds. Hinterland remains a single-stage festival, ensuring fans don’t have to choose between acts. After the main stage closes, the Campfire Stage will keep the music going late into the night.
Enhanced Camping, Parking & Accessibility
This year introduces improved camping and parking layouts, increasing convenience for attendees. Additional entrances, exits, shuttle services, and expanded food options (including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free selections) are part of the upgrades. ADA improvements will include more accessible parking, camping options, and a dedicated shaded viewing area.
New in 2025: The “90 Degree Guarantee”
Hinterland is introducing the “90 Degree Guarantee,” offering ticket holders the option to request refunds if temperatures are forecasted to hit 90°F or higher. If on Tuesday, July 29 at 10:00 AM CT, the official weather.gov forecast predicts temperatures of 90°F or above for any festival day (August 1, 2, or 3), attendees may request a refund for that specific day. 3-Day ticket holders can receive a refund at 1/3 of their ticket price per eligible day. Refund requests must be submitted via the 90° Guarantee Ticket Return Request Form at hinterlandiowa.com/tickets by 1:00 PM CT on July 29. Processing time for refunds is estimated to be within 10 days. This policy applies to admission tickets only and excludes camping, parking, and shuttle passes. Only tickets purchased directly through AXS.com qualify.
