Echo Black

“Chemicals”

You all know by now how much I love this band.  Echo Black has always managed to push the envelope of what a heavy, riff-driven band should be, from Danny Blu’s makeup to their subject matter.  “Chemicals” uses the romantic entanglement of two woman to bring about the band’s journey into relationships.  Danny Blu (vocalist) and Billy Long (drums, keys) have roots that go back as far as the high school marching band. They picked up Felix Skiver (guitar, vocals) and Rob Gnarly (bass, vocals) along the way and have been inseparable since. I really cannot say too many good things about this band.  Talk about not judging a book by the cover.  WOW!!!!  Guys, you gotta play Pittsburgh soon.
