Holy Golden is the brainchild of Leslie Schott and Andrew Valenti, and listening to the beauty of this whole EP is like taking a trip to some faraway, kinder universe.  The low-fi, dream pop sound reflects Schott’s voice, which is somewhat a cross between Dolores O’Riodan and Elizabeth Fraser.  This is beautiful, autumnal music with the sound of the ocean, the open meadows, the turning leaves.  Their bio speaks of them crafting ‘mythological mini-worlds’, and this is the greatest description I can think of.  I love this band so much; the sound, the vocals, the background.  Wonderful.
