“Yesterday” by The New Pacific starts off sounding like a song by Blur or another Brit Band, then that primal scream and you know you’re in a completely different territory.  The New Pacific might be influenced by the Beatles Revolver and the Brit scene, but they have taken that starting point and run with it, on the way picking up some hard rock sounds (listen to the guitars) and molded the music through the indie scene to make them more approachable and fan friendly.  Although they come from sunny LA, they are much harder than that.  What a great band.
