GRAMMY® winner Kali Uchis kicks off her next chapter with the vibrant video for “Sunshine & Rain,” the first single from her highly anticipated fifth studio album Sincerely,—a lush, genre-blurring body of work on the horizon. Directed by Zach Apo Tsang and shot in the heart of Mexico City, the cinematic visual transforms Uchis into a whirlwind of personas: from poised news anchor to whimsical weather girl Wendy Wave and the sultry Drizzle Lynn.

“‘Sunshine & Rain’ is about savoring joy, even in chaos,” Uchis shares. “It’s an existential love letter to life’s romantic highs and raw lows.”

Teased just last week, the single has already ignited fan frenzy. Wrapped in dreamy instrumentation, Uchis’ velvety vocals explore the grounding force of love—first in her own life, then as a wish for the world she now shares with her newborn. Her vow? To be a source of light and calm: “Through sunshine and rain… I’ll be that somebody because you’re that someone to me.”

This release follows her recent collaborations with d4vd (“Crashing”) and JENNIE and Childish Gambino (“Damn Right”), plus a standout moment presenting JENNIE with Billboard’s Global Force award.

Uchis’ star has never shined brighter. After skyrocketing with ORQUÍDEAS—her bilingual blockbuster that hit #2 on the Billboard 200 and snagged GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® nods—she cemented her status as a genre-defying powerhouse. From her breakout hit “telepatía” (2B+ streams) to critically acclaimed albums like Isolation and Red Moon in Venus, Uchis has built a career on transcending expectations.

Raised between Virginia and Colombia, she’s collaborated with SZA, Tyler, the Creator, Lana Del Rey, and more. With a new era unfolding, Sincerely, promises to be her boldest, most personal statement yet.

Watch “Sunshine & Rain” now—because Kali Uchis is forecasting brilliance.
