Experience LITTRELL’s Powerful New Music Video for “Cycle” – A Visceral Masterpiece
LITTRELL, the genre-blending dark pop/alt rock duo, has released the music video for “Cycle,” part of their visual album Public Love. The album also features videos for “Shark Week,” “Dirty,” and “Streams,” with tracks praised for their emotionally complex, genre-defying sound that merges dark pop, alt rock, and trip-hop.
“Cycle,” written and co-produced by Lindsay Littrell, explores the addictive nature of toxic relationships and the patterns that perpetuate them. Lindsay explains, “Recognizing the cycle is the first step to breaking it,” emphasizing the song’s broader message of personal and systemic transformation.
The video, directed by Christian Barreno and Lindsay, was shot in Indianapolis and showcases Lindsay’s emotive dancing, visually capturing the tension between entrapment and liberation. Marcus Ellison Jr. adds depth as Lindsay’s on-screen counterpart, continuing the album’s themes of raw, turbulent connection.
Recorded at Garrett Langebartels’ Naptime Recordings studio and mastered in Nashville, Public Love has earned critical acclaim for its cinematic approach and visceral storytelling. As Lindsay reflects, “This album and its visuals come straight from our guts. We hope it resonates deeply, connecting us all more authentically.” Check it out below and let us know your thoughts:
