Air Celebrate 25 Years of ‘Moon Safari’ with Reimagined Remix by Vegyn and Rare Vinyl Releases

Electronic legends Air continue the 25th anniversary celebration of their iconic debut Moon Safari with two special releases arriving April 12th for Record Store Day—and they’re adding new global tour dates due to overwhelming demand.
Fresh off four sold-out nights at Paris’ Salle Pleyel, the French duo is set to drop:
Blue Moon Safari – A bold, full-album rework by acclaimed British producer Vegyn (Frank Ocean, Travis Scott), out on streaming April 11 and pressed to translucent blue vinyl. Vegyn transforms the dreamy synths and chilled grooves of Moon Safari into a forward-thinking soundscape that’s equal parts nostalgic and new. Moon Safari Live & Demos – A white vinyl exclusive featuring 10 rarities, including unreleased demos and live BBC sessions, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of a genre-defining classic.
Originally released in 1998, Moon Safari reshaped electronic pop with its lush textures and tracks like “Sexy Boy” and “La Femme d’Argent.” Now, with Vegyn’s remix and a collection of archival gems, this timeless album is reborn for a new generation.
Pre-save Blue Moon Safari now and mark your calendars for Record Store Day on April 12.
