Juliana Hatfield is back.  That’s all you really need to know, but I will tell you more.  “Broken Doll” is a song written by someone who has been broken but is no more.  It’s one of the best things Hatfield has ever done.  It seems familiar but is still so different.  The melody is classic Hatfield (she always has had a gift), but there is so much more going on musically.  Hatfield is back with a vengeance.  Do not leave again.  I need you.
