Justice Announce New Album ‘Hyperdrama’ + New Song w/ Tame Impala
The electronic music duo from France, Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé, known as Justice, have recently announced the release of their upcoming album. Titled Hyperdrama, this album marks their first in almost eight years and is set to be available on April 26 through Ed Banger/Because Music. Alongside this announcement, they’ve released two tracks from the album: “One Night/All Night,” a collaboration with Tame Impala, and “Generator.” The music video for “One Night/All Night,” directed by Anton Tammi, is also available for viewing, along with the audio for “Generator.”
In a press release, the duo described “One Night/All Night” as a blend of dark techno and disco, influenced by Kevin Parker’s unique melodic style. They explained that the song alternates between electronic and disco elements, encapsulating the album’s theme of genre fluidity, particularly evident in this track.
Director Anton Tammi shared his vision for the “One Night/All Night” video, saying he aimed to create an immersive experience akin to a journey inside the cross, resembling rave lighting in human lungs and strobe light around a human heart, reflecting a blend of strange and experimental elements.
