Horrors of War: Between The Rain – “44”
“44”
This is a great, hard rocking song. I love this band. Coming from New York City, Between The Rain merge that line between grunge and alt metal. And the fact that their first single is about the horrors of World War II and the bullies who started it make this band extremely relevant for today. Consisting of Tim Donlon: Vocals/guitar; Victoria Rothman: Bass guitar; and Xavier Martinez: Drums, this trio makes enough perfect noise for quintets. And that shredding guitar solo in the middle that comes from nowhere; I swear, it made the hair on my neck stand up. Beautiful. Reminded me of Richie Blackmore when he was young.
