HNAF (Hot New Album Fridays): The Rolling Stones – ‘Hackney Diamonds’
Rating 8/10 – GREAT Album
The Rolling Stones are one of the most iconic and influential rock bands in the history of music. Formed in London in 1962, the band has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning several decades, and their impact on rock and roll is immeasurable. Hackney Diamonds proves the band still has it.
The Rolling Stones are known for their incredible musical talent. The core members, including Mick Jagger (vocals), Keith Richards (guitar), and Ronnie Wood (guitar), are all exceptionally skilled musicians. Their ability to blend rock, blues, and R&B is a hallmark of their sound and they bring that in fully glory to Hackney Diamonds.
And I don’t think The Rolling Stones need any introduction. You know what you’re getting when The Rolling Stones put out an album. They don’t skimp and provide quality blues and rock with a tinge of pop on their records. Jagger sings with his pure feral and ferocious sound. Keith Richards brings his iconic riffs and innovative use of open tunings have left an indelible mark on rock and roll. His distinctive, raw, and gritty playing style is a defining element of The Rolling Stones’ sound. Ronnie Woods brings his enigmatic style to the record. Hackney Diamond’s is a straight rock n roll, blues record with standout tracks like “Angry”, “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” Ft. Lady Gaga, “Bite My Head Off”, and “Live By The Sword.”
