Goodbye Honolulu – “You and Me”
Goodbye Honolulu is one of those rare bands blessed with four great songwriters and three frontmen that each have a variety of styles from power pop, punk, garage, new wave, and electronic. Goodbye Honolulu is comprised of Emmett S Webb – Vocals, Guitar, Bass; Jacob Switzer – Vocals, Guitar, Bass; Fox Martindale – Vocals, Guitar, Organ; and Max Bornstein – Vocals, Drums, Drum Programming, Percussion. “You and Me” is a great power pop/punk soon that, according to Jacob Switzer;
“Sometimes you find that person, and you know that your lives will always be connected. People might tell you that it will never last, someone will always want to tell you exactly what you “need” to do, but if all you ever wanted was someone to get haunted with, and if all you ever needed was someone to get heated with, this just might be the thing that lasts forever.”
With the many styles and the great technical ability of the band, Goodbye Honolulu never is boring. They really are just a great all round band. These guys are going to be huge.
