Caribou Returns with New Album ‘Honey’ – Listen to the Euphoric New Single “Come Find Me”
Dan Snaith is set to make a triumphant return with Honey, his first album under the Caribou moniker since 2020’s Suddenly. Scheduled for release on October 4 via Merge Records, Honey features recent singles like “Volume,” “Honey,” and “Broke My Heart,” alongside a fresh track titled “Come Find Me,” which you can check out below. The accompanying music video features a dancer sporting an oversized Dan Snaith mask, joyously moving through the streets of London, much to the bewilderment of passers-by—including Snaith himself, who makes a cameo.
In a press release, Snaith shared his excitement about “Come Find Me,” explaining, “I love this kind of chord sequence and the sort of French touch type of vibe, but it took a lot of time to find the right vocal hook and breakdown and make it more pop and concise. When I play that one in DJ sets, when it drops down to just the singing and then suddenly it’s a song that surges back in—I know for a fact no one in the crowd has heard it before, and yet people always respond in this really emotionally charged, euphoric way.… That’s always the best litmus test that a track has come together in the right way.”
Honey promises to deliver the signature blend of introspective lyrics and infectious beats that fans have come to love, making this long-awaited release all the more sweet.
