Atmospheric: yeule – “Pretty Bones”

“Pretty Bones”
Serotonin II
yeule has this very breathless voice flying over these interestingly, complex synth sounds and beats, sounding just like that beautiful heavenly music one hears in dreams. The synths stutter at times, making you think the song is dying down; yet, the song finds its beat and continues on. Imagine, if you will, Hope Sandoval singing for Eno’s Before and After Science. This is music that is so atmospheric, I swear yeule is actually not from this planet. Do you remember the Lost In Space episode where Dr. Smith meets the green-skinned alien that seduces with its song? That is yeule; it is a modern day Siren. Listen to it, but tie yourself to the mast.
yeule is from Singapore and is a project created by Nat Ćmiel.
Lyrics: Don’t you go leaving me You still got a life to go Sunken eyed, hollow Teary eyed, pretty bones I could never run from it You know how it feels to be Tired from the weight of it Wake up and you don’t feel home Say you need to rest but go Snort a line a little bit Then you think you own the world But you can’t control your fit I don’t know how to tell you, I don’t know how to tell you, You tell me
