The Junkie Twins

“Petty Thief”

Push To Exit

With a sound that shimmers yet rocks at the same time, The Junkie Twins have that sound reminiscent of The Jesus and Mary Chain without the feedback or Lou Reed at his most straightforward, like something from Sally Can’t Dance or The Velvet Underground (record three, without Nico).  Led by brothers Anthony and David Gill, The Junkie Twins (formerly of the band City Walls Autumn Falls) are releasing a new album, mixing darkly twisted Rock and Roll with Pop to create a harmonious concoction in Push to Exit.  Consisting of Anthony Gill – Vox/Guitar, David Gill – Guitar/ Vox/Piano, and Emile Griffith – Bass, The Junkie Twins have that Brooklyn sound that Lou would have especially loved.  Their album, Push To Exit, will be released in April.  For now, let’s enjoy “Petty Thief” and immerse ourselves in the dark, twisted pop of The Junkie Twins.
