Telescreens Announce Debut Album ‘7’ and Fall Tour Following Sold-Out Irving Plaza Show
New York City’s rock scene is alive and kicking, and leading the charge is none other than Telescreens. Over the weekend, the band delivered a powerhouse performance at a sold-out Irving Plaza, where they thrilled fans by announcing their debut full-length album, 7, set for release on October 4th via Victor Victor. The album will feature fan favorites like “Floods,” “Vertigo,” and “Burns,” and promises to be a defining moment in their musical journey. 7 captures the raw energy and evolution of a band that’s grown up in the city’s fast-paced, ever-changing music scene.
Telescreens have made a name for themselves with electrifying live performances that are as intense as they are immersive. Rising quickly from playing small, intimate venues like Arlene’s Grocery and Baby’s All Right, they’ve leveled up to sell out Bowery Ballroom and perform at high-profile events like New York’s Governor’s Ball. Their show at Irving Plaza, their largest venue to date, was a testament to their rapid ascent and their growing fanbase. Supported by acts like Sid Simons and The Things, the night was a celebration of their rise in the city’s vibrant rock scene.
With their debut album just around the corner, Telescreens are gearing up for a whirlwind fall tour. They’ll hit the road supporting Marc E. Bassy, and will share the stage with Catfish and the Bottlemen at an Austin City Limits (ACL) aftershow. And the excitement doesn’t stop there—following 7’s release, Telescreens will take on their first ACL headline set on October 5th, marking yet another milestone for the band.
Telescreens have already cemented their reputation as a must-see live act, catching the attention of high-profile fans like Juliette Lewis and CELINE creative director Hedi Slimane. Their rise has also garnered media attention from Lyrical Lemonade, V Magazine, and PAPER Magazine. With 7 on the horizon and a packed tour schedule, it’s clear that this is just the beginning of Telescreens’ unstoppable momentum.
Pre-save 7 now, and keep your eyes peeled—there’s a lot more coming from Telescreens soon. Hear “Burns” below:
