Let me be alone with this song. I love everything about Domingo; her looks, her wonderful voice, her vulnerability, her bravery. Domingo wears her heart on her sleeve. In contrast to Lana, who accepts her fate of bad relationships, or Morissette, who blames her ex-lover, Domingo instead pleads for her lover to explain why, just why. This song touches my heart. I love artists who are brave enough to share with us all the pain. Although I’m in the greatest relationship, Domingo brings back those melancholic feelings you get from an ended affair, the what ifs. Thank you Jessica. Thank you.
