From my favorite singer/songwriter, Brett Gleason has invited us into his bedroom to preview his new song, “Macroscopic”. Gleason has the amazing voice, tremendous keyboard technique, and great looks, but what really makes Gleason stand out his lyrics. He pours his soul into work, writing complex lyrics, using words of more than three syllables, but making them lyrics sound simple and personal. He truly is amazing. One thing that really stands out is he challenges his audience to think, much like Patti Smith and Tori Amos. I can’t wait for his new CD to come out. Oh, and personal note: he is the nicest guy in the world.
