What a great and important duo. HEGAZY is the brainchild of Leila & Omnia Hegazy, first generation Arab-Americans who grew up in the shadow of the 9/11 being referred to as “the other”. These are brave women fighting for their freedom and are proving that Muslims as a whole are not the enemy. This is a beautiful strong song. I love it. These two are obviously twins. You can tell by how they harmonize together. This is a wonderful song. This is one of the most important songs ever. Think protest music of the 60’s. Please check them out.
