Residing in that dark place between Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode, Jane In Space use their music to create an atmosphere of claustrophobia and agoraphobia at the same time. Coming from Brooklyn, Jane In Space is Jesse Jensen and Tom Vickers. Their musical aim is create beauty and tension all in the same piece. The melodies of human design war with the synthesize robots to gain control, and they both win. The tension is so palpable. (T)he Huffington Post describes (their sound) as “somewhere Radiohead might have ventured if they let loose once in a while.” This is intensely great music.
