Telefon Tel Aviv is the musical project of Joshua Eustis, who is trying very hard to make music as a way to sweat out all the nasty things. It has devolved from his eye-to-eye collaboration with the late Charles Wesley Cooper, III, into the musical detritus of all the horror, awe, despair, hope, beauty, and contempt in our world. Deciding to reissue Fahrenheit Fair Enough was a declaration of Eustis to carry on Telefon Tel Aviv, even without Cooper. I am so glad he did. Telefon Tel Aviv is a strange mix of jazz, ambient, and post punk noise. I love this band. I am so glad that TTA is carrying on. There is no other sound like this.
