Los Angeles dream-rock force Cryogeyser has just unveiled their latest single, “Mountain” (Feat. Wednesday)—a soaring, anthemic track that closes the chapter on their upcoming self-titled album, dropping this Friday. Featuring Karly Hartzman of Wednesday, “Mountain” channels raw transformation, self-acceptance, and the beauty of finding rather than longing: “I hear one door closing holds another open.”

Guitarist/vocalist Shawn Marom describes the song as a turning point for the band: “It’s about friendship, about having instead of longing. It’s a song about opening.”

Following the band’s critically acclaimed singles “Stargirl,” “Sorry,” “Blue Light,” and “Fortress”, Cryogeyser is shaping up to be the band’s most cathartic and expansive work yet, drawing high praise from The FADER, FLOOD Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan, The Line of Best Fit, Beats Per Minute, Northern Transmissions, Our Culture, and more. The album, produced and engineered by drummer Zach CapittiFenton, is available to pre-save now.

Cryogeyser Hits the Road

Marom will kick things off with a solo UK tour supporting Spirit of the Beehive, including London’s The Dome (2/27) and Glasgow’s The Flying Duck (2/22). Then, the full band embarks on a North American headline tour, launching 3/27 in Santa Ana, CA, with must-see stops at Los Angeles’ Lodge Room (3/28) and Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right (4/13).

About the Album

Since their 2019 debut Glitch, Cryogeyser has carved out a sound both mesmerizing and gut-wrenching. Their self-titled album fuses huge, gritty guitars with surreal dream-pop melodies, reflecting a band that has evolved from yearning to metamorphosis. “This album is about heat,” says Marom. “Capturing ice and holding it forever—even as it melts—knowing you’re burning but staying in orbit.”

Each track is a testament to transformation, vulnerability, and sonic rebirth, showcasing Cryogeyser’s signature blend of emotionally charged storytelling and expansive, atmospheric soundscapes. Cryogeyser is not just an album—it’s an experience.
