What a beautifully sad yet hopeful song Rob Gungor has managed to produced to commemorate the 2016 fire of the Ghost Ship in Oakland, especially to his friend Benjamin Runnels (known by many as Charlie Prowler). Personal songs are often uncomfortable about tragedies, but this song is beautiful and very touching. Gungor is very natural and is so personal in his writing and singing style. It is no surprise that he recorded in the same studio of The Mountain Goats, though they sound different, they have the personal touch in common. This is probably the best tribute to a friend ever. Listen and mourn.
