Boh Doran

Boh Doran exploded onto my computer with a bang.  I had never heard of her, and then she appeared out of the blue.  I thought she was brand new.  Then I found out that Boh Doran has been performing since she could barely walk. Influenced by the classic soul and rock writers of the 60s and 70s and laced with a blend of retro groove and modern indie pop production, her self-titled EP explores the deeper and sometimes darker side of the human heart. Boh describes it as “a smoky take on the hungry side of love.” I describe it as unbolievable.  Doran has the real stuff.  Her voice is pop perfection with this soul tinge.  She is so good, no one compares to her.  Check her out.  I love her, I really do.  She deserves to be on the radio.  I say, move over posseurs (and you know who you are), the real Diva has appeared.  She reminds me a little of Varuca Salt or Terri Nunn.
