It’s been just one week since Fifth Harmony debuted their new pop anthem Sledgehammer on San Francisco’s 104.3 FM and the hype is only growing bigger as NY’s very own Z100 helped launch this track countrywide on Wednesday. Click here to get it now on Google Play. Do you really need Michelle Obama to be the Bo$$ for a song to be a hit? I say, let that Sledgehammer smash away!

Every girl (and every guy that feels like a girl) has a dude that they like – that they really crush on. The Bo$$e$ detail every pulse vibrating throughout your body as the struggle to finally reveal yourself to your man takes precedence. “I struggle to contain… the love that’s in my veins… and how it circulates…” The emotional journey culminates in a newly defined love. “If you take my pulse right now it would feel just like a sledgehammer…If you could feel my heartbeat now it would hit you like a sledgehammer,” goes the tune.

5H owes all their credit to the legendary Brit Simon Cowell for choosing their talents to join forces back in the 2012 season two of the US version of The X-Factor and later signed the group to his Syco Records for British sales. L.A. Reid, also of X-Factor fame, contracted them domestically at Epic Records. Although the Harmonizers finished behind runner-up Carly Rose Sonenclar and winner Tate Stevens, they seem to have the most staying power.

So who are the 2014 MTV VMA winner of the “Artists to Watch”? If any of you really care feel free to Google em individually: Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah-Jane Hansen and Normani Hamilton.

Fresh off their win as MTV’s “Best US Act” the Harmonizers are facing off against bad boy “Best Canadian Act” Justin Bieber for “Best North American Act.”

Reflection is due out December 16th nationwide. Bo$$ will be up at #2, followed by Sledgehammer and Them Girls Be Like will play in the eighth slot. Miss Movin’ On is as well rumored to have a spot on the album since certifying as gold. “My fire’s waitin’ for your spark!” Pre-order all 14 tracks now on iTunes or on Amazon for a signed copy. Juntos is available exclusively at Walmart.

Dont forget to catch the gals live next Thursday Novemeber 9th, live on ABC’s GMA, then on Sunday the 6th, 4:00 PM in Miami at the Klipsch Amphitheater at Bayfront Park alongside rap kid Jake Miller”tary”. for the launch event of MTV’s European Music Awards. Former angel Nick Jonas will start things off making the crowd quite “Jealous” flaunting his buff physique. If you are in Florida click here to request FREE tickets.
