Singer/songwriter Matt Stamm has just released his sixth CD, the first time with cover songs only. He uses his unique gifts to make each song a personal, Matt Stamm song. The fact that he plays on the instruments, sings all the vocals, produces all the sounds is amazing and truly enhances the process of making each song his own. Not since Todd Rundgren has an artist so completely made someone else’s songs his own. A good example is the song, “Always Something There to Remind Me.” He infuses this song with longing, passionate longing, not in the original. This is absolutely beautiful.
