The District’s Release Two-Track EP “One to Another”

the districts, alternative, rockLast week Philadelphia-based indie rockers The Districts released a two-song EP, One to Another. The project went up on the group’s Bandcamp page and can be purchased for $5 with all proceeds benefiting the Standing Rock Medic and Healing Council.

The first self titled track kicks off with fuzzy acoustic guitar, quickly accompanied by frontman Rob Grote’s captivating vocals and a watery call and response lead. It sounds like The Districts we know, yet has a distinct maturity to it that has been previously absent from their work. The second track, “Alice,” sounds like it could be a b-side from their 2015 album A Flourish and a Spoil. It doesn’t take long until it blasts-off into the emotionally fueled indie ballad sound that fans have grown to love. You can stream or purchase the EP here.
