What great music. Music to think by, I love it. There should be a new genre just for Given Names, maybe Think Pop. Given Names are the product of design creatives David Raymond (Hidden Hospitals, Damiera) and Jeremy Perez-Cruz (The Still Voice, Sleeping Girl Drowning). This is truly intellectual music. Each song tells a story in a minimalistic way, stripped down so the meaning remains. I love minimalism. Used correctly, it can be used in such a way as to add deepness to their music. Listen and think.
