Antarctigo Vespucci

“White Noise”

Love In The Time Of E-Mail

What a great, humorous song (not surprising because of their name – no, I won’t explain it: read a book).  The line, “I can’t you out of my head; I listen to white noise instead”, describes so many of my relationships.  Antarctigo Vespucci remind me of the humor of Weezer, very sly and wonderful.  Oh, and the lead guitar riff on “White Noise” is one of my very favorites.  Chris Farren used to be in Fake Problems.  With the band falling apart, he needed a collaborator bad.  His buddy, Jeff, was facing the same dilemma.  His band, Bomb The Music Industry! was also breaking up.  The two decided to try writing together.  And what they came up with is killer.  This is the new band to love.
